«God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong […] It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God, our righteousness, holiness and redemption» (1 Cor 1:27-30).
Easter is knocking again at the door of our hearts. Shortly, the liturgy of the Holy Week will lead us into both the darkness of human existence and the life-giving light of the Resurrection. We are given a new chance to look at our lives remembering God’s faithfulness in the past and sensing His saving presence and His tender grace walking with us, in every circumstance we might be facing.
As we place our hope afresh in the Lord, who defeated the power of death by bursting forth from the tomb, may we experience a new awakening and growth, based and modeled on the Paschal Mystery of Jesus.
It is under this light that we “study” our human existence, in order to bring it to its vibrant transformation in Christ, who made us “New Creation” (Gal 6:15). And even if we might be treated as “Fools for Christ”, may this Easter give us, more abundantly, His radiant Wisdom and His never fading Vitality of Love.
Blessed and Happy Easter!
